We are right in the middle of the Most Wonderful Time of The Year: Engagement Season!

November – February is prime time proposal season, and here at Jazmine Karess Events, we LOVE to see it!

Newly engaged couples, particularly brides, are on Cloud 9 right now, sharing their joy and love with friends and family. But reality is going to hit soon: You ACTUALLY have to a plan wedding!!

It was all fun and games when you were just girlfriend and boyfriend making wedding Pinterest boards. Now that you have been leveled up to a Fiancé, it’s ABOUT to get real in 2020!

But don’t fret. Your planner friend is here with some quick tips to help you stay sane before Planning Panic sets in:

1. ENJOY your engagement! Being a “Feyonce” is going to be the shortest stage of your relationship. Have fun: Post a million pictures with that ring ladies and “my fiancé” us to death guys! Just remember to be present.
2. Get organized! As a planner, it’s my job to keep you on track. But we stan an organized client! When you are ready to buckle down, sit down and figure out the basics: Budget, Location, & Guest Count are typically the big three!
3. Finally, do not let the idea of Wedding Planning overwhelm you. It’s in my best interest to tell you to hire a planner; but don’t take my word for it, tap into your own network! Get tips from your already engaged / married friends about the planning process and what worked for them or what they wish they had done differently. Planner or not, they all will tell you that Wedding planning will absolutely have its stressful moments. Just remember to take things one step at a time – You got this!
